Gold and Jewelery Committee reviews sector's difficulties
Asharqia Chamber Gold and Jewellery Committee members reviewed during their fifth meeting some difficulties and challenges facing the sector on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Chamber in Dammam.
Chairman of the Committee Abdullatif Al Nemr who chaired the meeting explained that the members have discussed receiving the General Manager of Customs in King Fahad International Airport in order to discuss such difficulties faced by gold traders when clearing goods from the airport access.
He also pointed to the strategic plan discussion for 2011 and dividing the tasks also highlighting the main axes of the committee activities in which will receive the General Manager of Labor Office in addition to hold a meeting with the Director of Eastern Region Police and prepare a working paper on the police procedure in regard to gold shops security.
